KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL. is hereby given that is S the intention of this Council, at a meeting to be held on SATURDAY, the 23rd day of June, instant, to levy a Gener.il Rate of three farthings in the £ on the whole of the rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Roll in force for the year ending 31st March, 1895. Also, that it is the intention of this Council to strike a separate Rate of three farthings in the £ over the whole of the rateable property within the Apiti, Hautapu, Kiir.bolton, and Makino Ridings, aud one half-penny in the £ in the Oroua, Ongo, and Waituna Ridings. Both of tlie above rates to become payable in one sum on the 10th day of July, 1894. The Rate Book is now open for inspection at the Council Office, Feilding, during office hours. EDMD.
