The Government are about to try the experiment of employing State prisoners on Government work. The General Secretary of the Workers Union has written to the Pastoral ists Association that as no reply has been received to the request for a conference, it has been decided to call upon its members throughout Queensland not to sign a shearing Agreement nntil the present dispute is settled except under the old conditions.
