OPENING OF PARLIAMENT.

[Per Press Association.} Wellington, June 20. Everything ia in readiness for the opening of Parliament to-morrow afternoon, and most of the members will be in their places. It is understood that the Commissioners who will act for His Excellency in the opening ceremony will be the Speaker of the Upper House (Hon H. J. Miller), Hon W D H. Baillie, Hon Sir Patrick Buckley (Colonial Secretary), and Hon W. Montgomery (Member of the Executive). The general opinion in the lobbies to-night in that Sir Maurice O'Rorke will be elected Speaker. This Day. The weather is fine for the opening of Parliament at '2.30 this afternoon. Large numbers of members are in town. The remainder will probably reach here tomorrow. [Up to the hour of going to press the speech had not been received. It will be published to-morrow. J
