Tame and Co., Wellington, report on their stock and produce marketer for the week ending June 15th. as M- ; lOWS: . .• - ; :• ••.'•>;.•■ ■:.<!<iJ-~V Fat Sheep. — No change in market; priceS as last week ; best . wethers, s 12s to 18s; seconds, 10s Wto lls 6d ; ewes, 8s to 10s, according to weight " Good demand for all at above quotations. - Store Sheep— A demand is springing tip for young sheep, for the young graisi and any good lines coming forward sell ? good store wethers, well forward, 9s 6d to 10s 6d ; lambs, if good, are in fair demand at 6s to 68 6d; culls, low and slow of sale, 3s upwards; ewes, in lamb, 4 - and 6-tooth, are now in fairly active'deniand, at prices a shade higher than last week. ' • v : Fat Cattle— We quote beef, IBs 'per lOOlbs. Store Cattle— We have had very active business in this line, particularly in dairy cows and heifers, which hare sold up to £8 10s, for young cows jost calved ; heifers coming to calve in spring, £3 10s to £4 15s, and a demand fox plenty more; yearling heifers are |n. keen demand, and we could place large $ numbers. £ Pigs.— Baconers are worth B|d lb ; porkers, 20s to 32s 6d ; stores, slack ; we have sold good slips, 8s to 10s., j;/ £ Horses. — Still a good demand fpy oxpress and light harness sorts. We have sold good draughts at £23 and £22, and lighter sorts . at £16 to £18 ; express horses, £11 to £14 ; light harness, horses, £8 to £12 ; hacks slow and hard,to sell, unless something very special. - Sheepskins. — The wet weather has caused the demand to slacken a little; flue dry weather will firm the market again. Best cross-breds, 3s 6d to 4s ; country skins, 2s 6d to 8s ; pelts, 6d to • Is6d; broken skins, 2fd to 4d. ■% "' ' Rabbit Skins.— Market very flat. Quo* tations : Summers, 2d to 4d lb ; autumns, 4d to sd ; winters, 6d to 7d. ; Hides.- -Bullocks, 14s to 15s ; cow, 7s to Bs. ..., Tallow.— Market good ; 19s to 20s for . best ; medium, 15s to 17s ; caul fat, 18s. Wheat.— Market firmer; milling, 2s lid to 3s ; fowl wheat, 2s 4d to 2s 6d. . Oats. -Best feed,- Is lOd to Is lid; lighter sorts, Is 8d to Is 9d (sacks extra). Barley.— Prime malting, 4s to 4s 3d. Potatoes. — Best Derwents, 50s to 52s 6d Chaff.— Supply excessive ; 65s to 70s,
