There was a large attendance at Messrs Lowes i nnd Irons' Mastorlon stock sale on Wednesday. The stock sold as fol lowa : — Fat 2-tooth wethers, lls to lie 2d ; fat ewes, 8s Gd to ds ; 2-tooth store wethers, 8s Gd to Us 2d ; store ewos, 7s to 8s ; ewea in lamb, os to 7s ; culls, 3s to 3s 6d ; lambs did not reach owners' re» servs. Fat cowe, JLS to £5 10s ; 2Jyear steers, 77s Gd to 83a ; smaller, 70s ; heifers in calf, 67s Gd to 73s ; dairy cows iv calf, 70s to 100s ; eighteen month heifers, 52s 6(1 ; jearhngs. mixed, 36i to 48d ; calves, 26s to 30s ; good weuners aud ateers, 41*. A largo consignment of East Coast horses, unbroken, sold at from 60s to £6 15s. Young pigs, 7s to 9d i sow with litter, £o The Egmont Farmers' Union, Limited, report as follows : — Our Stratford sale, which was held on Bth in st., was rather better than those which we hare held there latterly. We quote: — 18 months to 2 -year- old steers, 4-2 14s to £2 10s; 2-year-old heifers. £2 9s to £2 19.4 ; cows and culves. £4 3s to £5 ; springers, £4 7s 6d to £5 12s 6d ; empty cows, £3 12s 6d to £'4 9s.
