+— (PKB PKESS ASSOCIATION ) Sydney, June 14. McNevin, one of the proprietors of Jus tice, who was sentenced to a month's imprisonment for libel on Mr S lattery, has been released at the instance of the Mintßter himself as an act of mercy. The equity suit, McNamara v. the Crown, claiming £13,000, damages to pro party through Government works, one of the longest suits since the Equity Act wns pasted in 1880, lasted 27 days, and resulted in a verdict for plaintiff for £10.000 and costs.
