■ ■ • (FEB PBKBB ASSOCIATION.} Wellington, June 12. A special Gazette of 61 pages has beeu issued, containing new rules for the Major Magistrate's Court under last year's Act. All the former rules are revoked, nnd tbe new code comes into force on Ist July. The Stipendiary Magistrates of all courts in tbe principal towns arc given both ordinary and extended jurisdiction, and twelve others (mcluding the Junior Magistrates at Auckland, Nelsen, and Christchurch) are appointed to exercise ordinary jurisdiction only. Both Messrs Kettle and Brabant, of Wan ganui, are given extended jurisdiction. ._————»——— ——^——— ————— —
