Terrible Storms in Austria.
« DESTRUCTION OF PHOPERTY. AND LOSS OP LIFE. [Per Press Association.] Vienna, Jane 8. The CAy has been visited bj hailstorms of fearful severity. Half a million windows have been smashed, while parks and gardens have been devastated in all direction?. Telegraph wires were razed during the s'orin, and buildings damaged. Thousands of birds were caught bj the storm, and killed before they could reach sbaiter, Simil&r etorms passed over Presburg 1 . Obenburg and Croatia. The hailstones were as largo as pigtons' eggs, and came down in thick showers. A battery of artillery which was overtaken by the storm in Vienna being disabled and one killed. Several other deaths and casualtieu are reported.
