N" OTICE is hereby given that is the intention of this Council, at a meeting to be held on SATURDAY, the 23rd day of June, instant, to levy a General Rate of three farthings in the ii on the whole of the rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Roll in force for the year ending 31st March, 1895. Also, that it is the intention of this Council to strike a separate Rate of three farthings in the £ over the whole of the rateable property within the Apiti, Hautapu, Kin. boiton, and Makino Ridings, and one half-penny in the £ in the Oroua, Ongo, and Waituna Ridings.
