RESIGNATION OF COUNCILLOR BRAY.

We agree with the resolution of the Borons' 1 Council last night, which accepted the resignation of iMr Charles Bray (junior) with regret. During the time he has been a member of the Council, short as it is, he his shown that he has great capacity for work, and a practical knowledge in connection with road and bridge maintenance and construction, which made lum a valuable acquisition to the Public Works Committee. His rea'.on for resigning — viz., that he 'cannot spare the time to attend his duties in the Council without interfering with his other employment — is a perfectly valid one, but we hope at some future time to again see him sitting at the Council table.
