Harcourt's death duty proposals. Sydney June 7. The steamer Cbmgtu bas been released from quarantine. It is stated that the plague is due to drought in Bong Kong causing dirt to accumulate in tbe streets. Melbovbne, June 7. Mr J F. Turnbull, merchant, is bankrupt. The liabilities amount to £33,500, and the asserts to £4,400.
