The Gisborne Unemployed.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). Gisbobne, This Day* At a meeting of the unemployed it was stated that a large number of the men out of work were in absolute need. The Mayor said Local Bodies had no funds for relief works, and suggested strong representations be made to the Government. A list was signed by eleven married men with fiftythree dependent on them, and sixtythree single men. A committee was appointed to communicate with the Government.
