A New Refrigerating Machine.
!♦- " [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 22 A trial has been made of the compressed air machine invented by Mr Daniel McGill, Engineer, of Petone. It 18 claimed that the invention is a great improvement on other refrigerating processes—lst. in saving in steam ; 2nd, simplicity of action ; 3rd, the small first cost in comparison with other known freezers in the market. The machine is capable of producing 6 OUO feet of cold •ir per hour. The inventor is at present in England arranging to place the machine in the market.
