THOUSANDS OF* PEOPLE LEFT HOMELESS. ENORMOUS DAMAGE DONE. (PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION). New York. May 22. The State of Pennsylvania has been visited by floods of exceptional severity. Houses and bridges have been swept away in all directions, and thousands of people are rendered homeless.
