Jeauneret, member for Carcoar, brought under the notice of the House a grave scandal iv connection with a licensed private lunatic asylum, where, it was alleged, the inmates were treated inhumanly. As a consequence of the statements made one patient has been removed from the asylum to a Government institution aud au enquiry is to be held. _____
