(Per Press Association.) London, May 19. The total quantity of wool catalogued up to date is 162,600 bales, of which 148,200 bales have beon sold. The tone of the market is better, and prices arc firmer. Colouial butter is quoted at 925. The English wheat market is declining and showing increased weakness, wliile the Continental aud American show a general decline. For forward shipments of Australian wheat sellers are asking 24.s 3d, but buyers refuse tv give more than 23s 3d. Colonial Oats. — Fine quality, 26s ; common quality, 235. Beans, 30a 6d ; peas, 25s 3d.
