Carr will hold a sale of furniture and effects at the residence of Mr J. D. Taylor, in Denbigh street, on Tuesday next, commeucing at 2 o'clock. We insert an advertisement to-day which is of great importance to everyone connected with the drapery trade in New Zealand. This brings his purchases of white blankets for the present winter up to 250 pairs. Every pair of this season's English blankets have been imported into New Zealand by himself.
