Mr Walter F. Burdekin, of Binning. ham, invites tenders for putting up fifty chains of fencing on bis property. Messrs Gower and Grice give notice of their intention to apply to the Manchester Road Board for a license to slaughter great and small cattle on section 17, Manchester Road District. Read the advertisement of Flockton, of Wellington, who is one of the largest importers of guns and firearms of all descriptions in the colony. Notice is given to-day by Mr Andrew Cavanagh that at the next Licensing meeting to be held in Marton sth June, he intends to apply for an accommodation license for Waituna West. An interesting "inset" appears with to-night's Star from Messrs Spence and Spence, and our readers would. d.o well to carefully peruso it.
