A Palmerstonian Arrested.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, May 17 This afternoon Maurice Cronin, late licensee of the Central Hotel, Palmerston, was arrested by Detective Campbell on a charge of intention to commit a breach of the Bankruptcy Act by attempting to leave th* colony with money belonging to his creditors. Accused arrived from Palnierston last evening in company with his wife, and it is alleged that he intended leaving for Sydney by the Rotokino this evening.
