Doyle gives notice of his iuten - tion to apply for a license for the Waituua hotel, on June sth, at the meeting of the Rangitikei Licensing Committee. Mr Albert Baker announces today that he has commenced business as a confectioner in premises adjoining the shop of Messrs Allan and Co., iv Manchester street, aud invites a share of public patronage. Mr F. Mackenzie gives notice to-day that he has started business, in the premises lately occupied by Mr H. Hickford, as fruiterer and grocer. Dyeing and cleaning will also bo done on tho premises, Settlers coming iuto the Feildiug stock sales should not fail to visit the Great Sale of Drapery and Clothing going on in Morey's premises, Fergusson street, next Bank of New Zealand.
