IPKB PBKBS ASSOCIATION.] v/. r Sydney^ May 15 The Boot Manufacturers' Association this morning agreed to re-open the factories to-morrow morning, on a distinct understanding that they are to be permitted to employ union or non-union labor. Printed placards are to be posted in each factory declaring it is re-opened under freedom of contract: " c l :K £ ; In connection, with the proposal of Unionists to establish a co-operative boot factory, a leacbng manufacturer has offered his plant on terms of payment extending over three years, and agrees to take any quantity of approved goods. The men are discussing the offer. This Day. At a meeting of boot operatives held last night it was resolved net to resume work until the men receive an assurance that their wages will not be reduced. It was also decided to reserve the right of working, or refusing to work, along* side of non-unionists. . . ;
