Rational Dress For Women.
(per press association). Christchubch, May 15. At a meeting last night the following resolution was passed : — ' That the ladies and gentlemen present, recognising on grounds physical, mental and moral the necessity of inculcating a higher ideal of women's dress, trom themselves into an association for the purpose of dealing with the question of rational dress for women, that this association be called the New Zealand Rational Dress Associaton ; that the liitns of the Association be the briui{ine about of thut chauge in womau'a dress with be- wider life and increased activity *fiem to demand ; and tha< the Association whilst accepting the most radical ideal, also heartily encourages all stages of reform.'
