The Missing Prospectors.

THE SEAKCH PARTY IN DIFFICULTIES. (PKS PBSSB ASSOCIATION!. InvEbcabgill, May 10. Kelly, the survivor of the lost prospectors, was found alive yesterday in an exhausted state. He states that Evans was drowned in the Wairaurahiri on the 28th ult., six days after Harvey left them, while attempting, in an exhausted condition, to cross the stream on a fallen tree about a mile from the mouth. Kelly followed the river's course until he came to a rough sheep bridge by which he got across. 1 here is a hut there and fortunately it contained some food. He remained there for some days, and was then compelled by hunger to return to the beach, where he was found in a terrible state of exhaustion, about twelve miles beyond Waiau, by Constable Miller and Duncan McPherson, surveyor. The next difficulty will be the recovery of the search party, who have been out ten days in the most tempestous weather. A steamer started last night to take them off the beach, but a gale compelled it to return to port.
