OTAKI MAORI RACING CLUB.
The Otaki Club has been again successful in securing largo nominations for their May meeting. When the hour closed last evening it was found that 161 nominations had been received, 25 for the Trial Handicap, 15 for the First Hurdles, 35 for the Glasgow Plate, 18 for the Second Hurdles, 32 for the Flying, aud 36 for tho Stewards' Handicap. They are as follows : - Trial Handicap—Vain Glory, Royal Oak, Athene, Primus, Aroha, Maori Girl, Milford, Aotea, Aim, Splitlink, Cainpasphe, Nihilist, Tubiwai, Miser, Marmiou, Waidrop, Lady Kilburne, Waircre, Moata, Laugdale, Overseer, Sweet Dream, Riporipo, Comfort, and Raukawa. First Hurdle—Piki Huia (late Tuual, Karamea, Lord John, Romeo, Pembroke, Strike, Spraydom, Austral, Chrystal, Tricky Jack, Result, Raugipai, Freewill, Mac, aud Pomoana.
