Distressing Suicide.

A YOUNG LADY CUTS HER THROAT. [PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] CIIRISTCHURCII, April 30 Yesterday morning, about 6 o'clock, Miss Hilda Lewis, daughter of George Lewis, of Lyttelton, was found dead with her throat cut. Deceased had been ailing for the past year, and latterly her mind became affected through physical exhaustion. An inquest was held at Lyttelton this afternoon and a verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned.
