Annexation of Samoa.
[Per Press Association] . Berlin, April 30. An inspired article in the North German Gazette contends that any protectorate in Samoa other than Gernmn is impossible. The German press continue to discuss the matter in heated terms. London, April 30 The Times thinks it beyond doubt that Germany intends to claim her full rights. The Standard's Berlin correspondent believes the controversy will end in slight changes being made in the present method of control.
