(PEB PBK3B ASSOCIATrON.3 * Wellington, April 27 Mr Dutbie, M.H.R, has written to } the Colonial Secretary] pointing out ' the inconvenience and annoyance to electors who are struck off rolls while it is doubtful whether the law intended it should be done, and urging that registrars should receive legal direction in the matter. The Hon Sir Patrick Buckley replied that the Government do not in ■ terpret the lav for statutory officers, ' and if anyone is aggrieved, bo has a legal remedy against the registrar. Letters have also been sent to the Government on the same subject by other Wellington M.H.R. 's.
