Wellington, April 26 The Railway Commissioners were interviewed to day by a Wanganui deputation, who asked that the through train on Tuesdays and Fridays run on to Wangaaui and stop there a sufficient time for the pass«n gets to lunch, afterwards resuming their journey, instead of, as at present stopping at Aramoho. Tne Commissioners would not pledge themselves to either proposal, but would consider both. The deputation afterwards waited upon the Premier to ass that his influence shonld be used with the Commissioners to secure the changes they sought The Hon. Mr beddon said he could not interfere, as these were purely details.
