THE RECREATION GROUND.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir, — I would like to endorse the remarks ot " A Well-wisher " who, a few days ago, suggested through your j columns the desirability of the Council providing a copper, etc., at the Sports Ground. The suggestion is a good* one and will be heartily supported by any who have ever had occasion to visit the ground at festive seasons. A small charge would soon defray ex penses incurred and provide a small revenue, which might be devoted to the erection of other necessary conveniences which will suggest themselves. A few improvements of this kind would doubtless have the effect of making the grounds still more attractive. 1 am, etc., Another Well-wisher. Feilding, Thursday 26th, 1891.
