SHOCKING DETAILS. WHOLE FAMILIES ENGULPHED. (-"Ell PBESS ASSOCIATION ) Athens, April 23 The death-roll of the earthquakes has increased to 302. The loss of life was specially large in the monasteries. It is reported that whole families were engulpbed while attending church. A pier iv a Byzantine church at Daphne was shattered, and its fall wrecked tbo whole building.
