THE following is the Result of the Poll taken at the Makino Schoolhouse on Saturday, 2 1st April] 1894, on the proposals to borrow £1130 for road-making in No. 4 Subdivision : — The total number of ratepayers on the roll of No. i Sub-divi-sion is 58, and the total number of votes 116; of these 34 ratepayers, having 62 votes, voted for the loan. A majority of ratepayers, exercising more than one-half the total number of votes, being in favour of the pro posals, I declare it to be carried. FRANK Y.
