Heavy Floods in the South.
— — — ♦ A TOWN' SEVKKAIi FEET L'M>ER WATER. [rEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Dcnkdin, Tins Day. There are heavy floods in the Tiipanui district owing to the melting of the snow. At Pomahaka they are higher than before known, and there is great damage to property. No loss of life is reported. The Kelso township is several feet under water. There was heavy rain in town all night, but the weather is now fine.
