BUDGET PROPOSALS WELL RECEIVED IN THE PROVINCES. THE COMMITTEE FOR Si OTCH AFPAIBS. (PEB PttEfeS ASSOCIATION). London, Apr'l 18. The Bndget proposals were well received in the provinces. Mr Ba I four's amendment to the motion to set up a Scotch Grand Committee warejected by a majority of 33 votes. Mr Campbell- Bannermun stated that similar committees would be appointed in regard to Welsh and Irish offairs.
