200 OUNCES FROM 2 SQUARE FEET OF GROUND.

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Melbourne, This Day. A rich patch of gold was struck at Daylesford, and two hundred ounces of the precious metal were taken from a piece of ground less than two feet square. Most of the gold was in a lump clustered together like a bunch of grapes. One piece weighed thirty ounces.
