Wreck of the S.S. Kiwi.

(PEE PKEBS ASSOCIATION) Wellington, April 12, The Kiwi left Wellington on Tuesday evening for East Coast ports with a full general cargo. A boat was launched, and when she was about 800 yds off the vessel cave a lurch and sank bow firsK She was valued at £3,500, and insured in the Victoria office for ±8000, portions of the risk being transferred to other offices as follows : - New Zealand, £500; Commercial Union, £500; South British, £500; Standard, £250; National, £250; United, £250; Thames and Mersey, £270. The steam trig Duco leaves for Glenburn this evening to bring the officers and crew of the wrecked veeßel to Wellington.
