Tbe Security and Fidelity of tbe Pub. lie Trustoo's administration must be considered of the utmost importance to every person contemplating the appointment of a trustee. Tho colony guarantees the fidelity of tbe administration, and Guarantees also the Integrity of the Capital Funds invested at tho option of tUo I'ublic Trusto*. The Colony Guarantees also, on the capital funds arising for investment out of the properties placed in the Public Trust Office, • common rate of interest, to bo paid quarterly, Free of atl charges of the Public Trust Office. The value of this guarantee is in ttaS Guarantee of the Colony against loss from investments in bad or Insufficient securities, and against loss from delay in investment, and for the regular and punctual pay-* mont of the interest, free of all charges of tna Public Trust Office. In tho appointment ot Trustees there must always be SOriouS concern as to the security of the capital funds; and th« larger tbe capital funds tho greater must be the concern for Bocurity, and the loss for a high rate of intcrost. The Public Trustee cannot die, cannot leave the colony, cannot become disqualified, or involved in private difficultiOTJ and cannot be distrusted. In private trusteeships, death and absenc* render necessary numerous &nd expensirt doods not required by Public Trustee's administration, which bns, besides, tbo offlM solicitor's advice without expense to tIM estatos.
