New Zealand frozen mutton — First quality, 4 J d ; second quality, 4fd. Lamb — First quality, s|d. The New Zealand hemp market is quiet. About 470 bales of New Zealand dressed, barely fair to good, brought from £14 10s to £16 10s. The butter market is depressed. The Ruahine's cargo of factory-made butter realised from 94s to 98s, while a few fancy lots brought over 100s ; Danish, 116s. New Zealand long-berried wheat, ex warehouse, 26s 9d, business quiet; South Australian wheat, ex warehouse, 28s ; Victorian do., 27». April 8. During March the imports showed an iucrease of £'1,200,000 and the exports a decrease of £1,800,000.
