(PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, April 4. The cash returns for railways for the twelve months ending 31st March, 1894, give a gross revenue of £1,176,000. As the Commissioners expect not to exhaust (he amount voted for expenditure by £5000, the net cash result will be within £2000 of (he return estimated at the beginning of the year (£448,000) or nearly 3 per cent on capital value of railways, which capital value was considerably in. creased durinnr the jear by the opening of aaprofitabfa estentions
