The Frozen Meat Trade.
NEW ZEALAND V. NEW SOUTH WALES. (PER PHESS ASSOCIATION). Sydney, April 2. Mr Abbot, the well-known pastoralist, has returned from a visit to New Zealand. He says that New Zealand has no natural grasses like New South Walea. The latter can produce crossbred sheep suitable for frozen meat export cheaper than New Zealand can do ; and if New South Wales pastoralists would show some pluck and expend a few hundred thousand pounds in the establishment of the industry they would in less than two years double the value of pastoral assets.
