and Co. report of tbeir sheepskin, hide, and tallow sale H^^at their rooms yesterday : —We catalogued a good number of skins, &c. The introduction of these weekly skin sales is being warmly welcomed by both buyers and sellers, and the presence of j a buyer for Southern requirements materially helped the sale. We sold full-woolled skins up to 4s 6d each; lambskins from 2s 6d to Is IOd ; pelts from Is lOd to Is for best ; others, Is to 6d; dead wool, 4£d ; odd lots of lambs' wool, s£d to sd ; pieces and locks, 2d to 3£d; inferior beef tallow, ISs. There was a strong demand for mutton tallow. Hides -We quote bullock, 12s to 16s; cow, 7s to 9s 6d, according to quality and flaying. Clean horsehair, lOd to Is. Rabbitskins— None to hand, but good demand.
