MORE GOLD DISCOVERIES.
A TERRIFIC GALE. (PES PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Syoney, March 21. A good alluval field has been discovered near Wellington. A rush has set in and the prospects are regarded as excellent. Another discovery of allluvial gold is reported at the Clyde river, in the South Coast district. It is stated that four ozs. to the bucket are obtained, but this lacks confirmation. A severe cyclone swept over tbe Bourke district tliis morning. Several houses were blown down, and many buildings unroofed. Tne Captain of a ship which has arrived at Newcastle from Beunos Ayres reports that a number of New Australians begged a passage back to the colonies, and some offered ._lO, but as be did not wish to carry passengers he had to decline. Adelaide. March 21 The police arrested 26 of the unemployed wtio persisted in camping in the Botanic Park, on a charge of illegally living there. VI flbournf^ This ' ay.
