. Messrs Freemen it Jackson and Co. report as follows : — We have to report two dragging sales at Waverley and Wan ganui. Cattle sold f.irlv well, but sheep were difficult to plice. However, we lnanuged to sell nenrli all the lines nfier the auction. Pigs sell at full values. We quote : — Cattle. -At Waverly-Cow., £3 5s 9d : milch cows, t5 2s 6d to £6 7s 6d ; younj,' steers, Jt2 to i,"2 13d 6d ; yearlings, _0s to 40. ; weaners, 275. At St. Hill street — Grown steer., _■_ ; younger ones, £2 12a 6d ; heifers, £2 10s to £3 Is ; fat cows, £5 2s ; yearlings, 80s to 85s Sheep. — At Waverley — Fat ewes, 6s 8d to 8s ; wethers, 9s 9d to 10s 6d , young ewes, 7s lid lo 8s 2d ; store wethers, 7s 6d to 7s 9d : ewes, 5s to 7a 6d ; old ewes, 2s 9d to 43 6d, At Wanganui -Store wethers, 7s 2d to 10s ; fat ewes, 7s 6d to 8s 6d ; breeding ewes, 6s lOd to 7s lid ; old sheep, ls6d to 3s ; lambs, 2s Od to 3s Bd. Figs — Baconers, 82s to 455 ; porkers, 208 to 27s 6d ; smaller sorts, 12s 6d to 17s 6d ; small pi„s, 4s 6d. Poultry — Fowls, 2s to 3s ; ducks, 3s to 3s 6d ; geese, 5s tho couple.
