Waituna Rifle Club.
A meeting of the Waituna Rifle Club was held in Mr Benson's wool shed, when the following were elected as a committee for the ensuing year : — Mr Buchanan (re-elected), President; Mr W. Bensemann, secretary; Mr W.Benson, treasurer * Messrs E. Wilhelins, P. Baer, C. Pussel, I>. Da vies, R. Davies, Sandilands, and Fitton, senr. The President kindly presented the Club with a cheque for two guineas. The balance-sheet was read and adopted. It showed a substantial balance in hand, after paying all expenses, of £5 11s. The Club held a handicap match on St. Patrick's Bay, when a fair muster put in an appearance. The ranges were 200, 300, and' 500 yards, five shots at each range.
