[PEB PBBBS ASSOCIATION] Capetown, March 17. j The Chartered Company's Agents at Buluwayo have learnt that on Dec. 3rd Lobengula sent messengers from his camp with a present of £1000 and instructions to iuform the British of« ficera that he was willing to surrender. The messengers delivered the verbal message, and hai.ded the money to two troopers of the Imperial i J olice Force, who are now under arrest on suspicion of theft. They aro also to be charged with concealing the terms of surrender from their officers, whereby they are morally answerable for the death of Lobengula and the slaughter of Major Allan Wilson s detachment.
