"Professor" Richards Attacked.

(Per Press Association). f^ELsoN, March 15. Some excitement has been occasioned here iv connection with Professor Richards, medical electrician. Henry Smith, who was employed by the Professor till jx. few days ago, made public statements regarding his late employer of a damaging nature, and Mr Buxton, C.E., went on the platform and said he was asked by Richards, who was not present, to state he would completely answer Smith on tho Sunday next, and asked the people to withhold judgment till then. This afternoon, however, the Professor left for the South and Invercargill. Some people have threatened to bring actions against him. Buxton, it appears, had been set upon after he left the meeting and assaulted.
