The Security and Fidelity of the Fab. lie Trusteo's administration must bo considered of tho utmost importanco to every person contemplating the appointment of a trustee. Tho colony guarantees the fidelity of the administration, and Guarantees aISO the Integrity of the Capital Funds invested at tho option of tho Public Truste*. Tho Colony Guarantees also, on th« capital fumls arising for investment out qf the properties placed in the Public Trust Office, ft common rato of interest, to bo paid quarterly, Free pf all charges of the Public Trust Office. The valuo of thia puarantee is in tho Guarantee of the Colony against loss from investments in bad or Insufficient securities, and against loss from delay in investment, and for the regular and punctual payment of tho intorest, free of all charges of the Public I'rust Office. In the appointment of Trustees thero must always be SdriOUS concern as to the security of the capital funds; and tha largor tho capital funds tho greater must be the concern for security, and tho less for a high rato of interest. The Public Trustee cannot d|e, cannot leave tho colony, cannot become disqualified, or involved in privato difficulties ; and cannot be distrusted. In private trusteeships, death and absene* render necessary numerous and espensiv* deeds not required by Public Trusteo's administration, which has, besides, tho ofOaa solicitor's advice without exponse to Urn ostatoa.
