The Premier's Tour.
(Per Press Association"). Auckland, March 13. Tawhaio did not meet the Premier at Hamilton. He said some of his relatives were seriously ill. The Premier said he would stop the night at Ngaruawahia, which would give him a further opportunity. Mr Seddon left Ngaruawahia at noon, and Tawhaio arrived about an hour afterwards at Mercer. Herei Kaihau (on bail) attempted to shake hands with the Premier, but he declined to do so with wrongdoers. The Premier arrived this afternoon, and was welcomed by a uumber of gentlemen at the railway station. This Day. The Premier arrived last night. Tawhiao reached Ngarawahia half an hour aftev Mr Seddon had left, but tho latter refused to go back, %t Mercer, Kerie Kai Hau, who had been released on bail, tried to interview Mr Seddou but was rebuffed. The party leave for tho northern districts to-night. The Premier may speak at Auckland on his way back.
