(PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION ) Wellington, March 9. The Land Purchase Board has bad before it offers of 56,000 acres in ! Canterbury, Otago, and Southland. Of this, only 2000 acres have bern considered worth recommending to the Government for purchase. Negotiations for the Elsthorp estate, Hawke's Bay, have not been abandoned by the Government, but there is a difficulty over the price.
