(PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) London, March 8. Several Nationalist members disapprove of MacCarty's pacific attitude towards the new Premier, and threaten to break allegiance. Mr Herbert Gladstone succeeds Mr Shaw Lefevre as Commissioner of Works, without a seat in the Cabinet. Mr H. Gardner has resigned the presi* dency of the Board of Agriculture owing to ill-health. Mr Cbaz»WJai» paid a visit to Mr Gladstone, and expressed regret at his retirement. The New First Commissioner of Works, Mr Herbert J. Gladstone, is the fourth 6011 of the ex-Premier, and has held the post of Junior Lord of the Treasury, Deputy Commissioner of the Board of Works, Financial Secretary of the War Olnce, and Under Home Secretary.
