NOTICE OF POLLING DAY. IN pursuance of " Tlie Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1893," I, Win. Matravers, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Palmerston, do hereby give notice that an > Election will be held for the return of ' eight qualified persons as members of a Licensing Committee for the Licensing District of Palmerston, and that the latest day for receiving nominations of candidates will be the 11th day of March, 1894, and the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district on the 22nd clay of March, 1894. Every man desirous of becoming a candidate must be r.omiuated by not less than two electors of the district by a nomination paper as prescribed by section 75 of " The Electoral Act, 1893," delivered to the Returning Officer on or before the 13th day of March, 1894. Nomination Fortus can be obtained from all Post Offices in the Licensing District. I also give notice that pursuant to the provisions of " The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1893," a Poll will be taken on the 22nd day of March, 1894, at the undermentioned polling places, to determine — 1. Whether the present number of Licenses is to continue. 2. Whether the number of any such licenses is to be reduced. 3. Whether any licenses are to be granted.
